Visit was ok. I was on time coming from 3hrs away. When i got there i received a message that Tyler would be there in afternoon. (Changed from 11-1 to 1-3)

In June I had a new furnace and A/C installed replacing the old.
Brady, Jesse and Tyler were great! Professional, polite, tidy
and answered all my questions. A great price !Everything was done at the times given.
Due to the flooding, I called to have them check out my furnace that all was well the morning after all the rain. They were here the next day and happily everything was working well. Even answered more of my questions! So happy that I chose Mackay Heating & Cooling!

Ryan showed up on time for the appointment and had sent a notification he was on the way. Always appreciated.
Ryan did a thorough examination of our boiler, heat pump and indoor units. Filters and outdoor unit were cleaned. He answered my questions and gave me an update on the status of everything when he finished. Glad to hear everything is ready for the new season.
Ryan was courteous and neat. Would welcome him again.

Brady made this entire process painless. He was polite, friendly and efficient. He took time to explain what would be happening and took pictures so that I could see the changes (very thoughtful as I am mobility challenged). The use of booties and even a red carpet on my basement stairs to ensure there would be no mess for me to clean up was much appreciated. There was no pressure from Fred, the salesman, in any decision making and they were able to give me an appointment fairly quickly. Many thanks to all involved. I would definitely recommend MacKay Heating and Cooling.

I found McKay’s at the St Catharines Home Show back in 2014. We picked them because they were knowledgeable on the subject heat pumps – they installed a new furnace and heat pump for us a few months later – and we have been dealing with them ever since. Everyone we have dealt with has been extremely nice and more importantly, they all go out of their way to provide top quality service. It has been a pleasure dealing with everyone at MacKay Heating & Cooling, with much appreciation.

I contacted Mackay Heating & Cooling for a quote on a new hot water tank. Tyler arrived at our home within an hour and was very friendly and professional. He provided a detailed quote at no charge, which we really appreciated.
We decided to move forward with the installation, and Chris and Zack came the next day. They removed the old tank and installed the new one within a few hours. The whole process was smooth and efficient.
We’re very pleased with their work and the excellent service from the entire team. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable heating and cooling services.

I called at 930 pm for an emergency service call. The young man was very polite and thorough on the phone. He arrived on time. He explained clearly what he had done to assess the problem. Diagnosed and fixed the issue within an hour. Super personable and very professional. I highly recommend this company.

After doing initial research, found MacKay Heating & Cooling was top of recommended local companies for tankleess hotwater , HVAC service, installation and maintenance. After meeting with Fred for quotation, i was impressed with experience and knowledge. This convinced me to go with them. When I phoned office to accept quote, the friendly office personnel quickly provided helpful service and advised a install date with expected time of arrival on date. On day of install a text message was sent by tech to advise they were on their way. The first tech Dave arrived at 8:03 to layout floor mats on exposed floor so they could not cause any mess while coming and going. As well to start drain of existing tank. Chris showed up shortly after and the removal of old and install went very well. A highly professional crew and final result was exceptional, piping for water, venting, natural gas and drainage were clean and square.
I highly recommend MacKay’s team of professionals.

From start to finish, the service was great. The two guys who were here were very polite and cleaned the area after they finished. We have been dealing with this company for 24 years. They installed our first furnace in 2001 and have maintained the furnace all throughout this period. I will recommend them again and again.

This is my 1st experience with MacKay heating . After my regular service company responded , in late October , to my request to perform my annual furnace maintenance service in November . Sorry , we have not started to book November yet was the response . This was the same company I purchased my new furnace from 3 years ago , and this year measured up for a new Air Conditioner and never provided a price . ‘ HOW DO SOME COMPANIES STAY IN BUSINESS ?
MacKay was different . They were immediately on the ball . Most cooperative , friendly and professional in customer relations

Fast, effective service. Going to bed Friday night, discovered no furnace heat on the current coldest night of the year. Called MacKay service line, talked to the weekend service guy. He arrived early the next morning, diagnosed the problem, had the required part in his truck. Replaced the part and confirmed the furnace was now running properly. Thanks Josh for a job well done.

MacKay Heating and Cooling came quickly when called. Andrew arrived on time and outlined our options. With a 44 year old furnace and 35 year old air conditioner ( Mac Kay 1989) it was time for replacement. A new HVAC system plus a hot water tank was ordered and installed by a very professional team who worked steadily for two days completing the install, clean up and set up of the system. Quite amazing.
After the first weekend with our new furnace we are pleased to have heat evenly distributed throughout house – a first for us. Lots of hot water too!
Being family run & locally owned was a bonus. We highly recommend MacKay Heating and Cooling.

It’s been 11 years since MacKay Heating and Cooling installed our Veisman boiler and hot water tank. We have used their yearly service in order to keep our home worry free from heating issues. Service techs are very knowledgeable and provide preventative maintenance tips in order to prevent any subsequent failures. Excellent service year after year.
